City: Disregard September 1 Return Date on Mail-In Ballots

The City of Waltham has issued the following notice about mail-in ballots for the November 3 election:
“This message is in regard to the 2020 November election. Some Waltham voters may have received ballot instructions with a ballot return date of September 1. You should disregard that date. That date applied to the primary election.
Please mail your ballot promptly. If it is postmarked by November 3 and received by November 6, it will be counted. You can also deposit it in the drop box at the back door of city hall up until 8:00 p.m. on election day, November 3. Thank you for your attention to this message.”
