The restoration of the cupola atop city hall wrapped up recently as part of exterior improvements to city hall.

Framingham-based J.T. Haffey Builders was the general contractor for the restoration of the cupola and clock tower.

The rotted-out former cupola was removed by contractors back in February.

 

After detailed restoration work, the restored cupola was installed in late June.

Columns below the cupola and clocks followed in early August.

Correction: an earlier post about this project erroneously identified the contractor as Aulson, a subcontractor. The general contractor for the restoration was J.T. Haffey Builders.
