Farmers' Market is Open

Published by Chris Wangler - June 20, 2020.

As an essential business, the Waltham Farmers’ Market has already been running for three weeks under coronavirus guidelines.

It operates, rain or shine, every Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m at Government Center through October 31.

The market features two dozen vendors selling a wide variety of locally grown and made goods. Cash, SNAP, debit and credit cards accepted.

To ensure coronavirus compliance, note the following safety precautions:

Masks required
Hand sanitizing stations
One-way, no-touch shopping
Pets not permitted except for service animals

The lone entrance is on Lexington Street behind the building at 119 School Street. The Waltham Elks Club has allowed a portion of its lot to be used for customer parking.
