Going The Extra Distance

Waltham firefighters had to run lines up a cliff to extinguish a brush fire on Prospect Hill on Saturday.
Waltham Fire responded around 4:00 p.m., according to news photographer Peter Lobo.
To reach the fire, firefighters ran long hoses from a parking lot at 500 Fifth Avenue.
It took roughly two hours to contain and soak down the blaze.
Roughly an acre was damaged, said Lobo.
The cause remains under investigation.
