Gulf Customers And Owner Raise More Than $37k For Covid Non-Profits

Published by Chris Wangler - June 8, 2020.
Between June 1 and June 7, customers at 821 Main Street pumped $18,595 worth of gas as part of a promotion to support local youth non-profits.
Gulf owner George Michael will match that total for a grand total of $37,190.
Over the last week, ⅓ of gas sales at the busy station have been set aside for three Waltham non-profits that have served youth during the coronavirus pandemic.
George said the money will be distributed to Healthy Waltham, the Waltham Boys & Girls Club and the Waltham Partnership for Youth.
During the coronavirus outbreak, these three organizations have provided healthy meals, enrichment opportunities and positive reinforcement to Waltham youth.
Congrats on a successful effort!
