Hip Coffee Roaster Opens

Want to try some excellent coffee roasted in Waltham? Del’s Coffee Roasters on Felton Street has you covered.
In a funky converted garage, owner Paul Delmonico roasts beans from Indonesia, Africa and Central and South America.
“I like to keep it medium to dark,” he said. “I do some light roasts, but avoid super dark roasts because it takes out some of the flavors.”
A dedicated home roaster, Paul got requests during the pandemic to deliver coffee to friends.
His business evolved out of the increasing demand. Along with online sales, he plans to get his coffee into Waltham restaurants and stores.
Starting in mid-May, coffee lovers can sign up for tastings every Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. The music is as good as the coffee.
