Waltham’s red COVID status has forced Waltham veterans officials to create an alternate plan for Veterans Day.

Instead of the traditional in-person ceremony on Waltham Common, the mayor and veterans officials have pre-taped a ceremony that will air on our channels on November 11.

That ceremony includes the reading of names on bricks installed in the Circle of Remembrance.

Families that have purchased bricks for the circle can make an appointment with Waltham Veterans’ Services to view their bricks privately.

The Veterans Day show will air on the Mac and Waltham Channels on Wednesday, November 11 at 11:00 a.m.
