LWV Candidate Forums Start Tuesday

The League of Women Voters Waltham is hosting three candidate forums before the November 7 municipal election.

The forums feature candidates in citywide races for mayor, city councilor at large and school committee [see complete rundown below].
All the forums will take place at Government Center and start at 7:00 p.m.
The at-large forum, moderated by retired Waltham attorney Alice Taylor, will take place on Tuesday, October 17. Twelve candidates are seeking six seats.
The school committee forum, moderated by retired attorney and teacher Alan Humbert, follows on Thursday, October 19. Five candidates are seeking three seats.
The final forum, for mayoral candidates, will be moderated by retired pianist, teacher and activist Joan Garniss and takes place on Thursday, October 26.
The MAC channel will record the league’s three forums for broadcast and streaming before the municipal election on Tuesday, November 7.
