A routine fire alarm call early Tuesday morning revealed elevated levels of carbon monoxide (CO), triggering a building evacuation.
Waltham Fire responded to 701-709 Moody Street around 5:00 a.m.
Nothing was visible upon arrival, but further investigation determined that a delayed ignition was causing elevated carbon monoxide readings.
A second alarm was transmitted to help evacuate the building.
No one was injured, and the incident remains under investigation.
