The Life Sciences boom shows no signs of slowing in Waltham, and the majority of construction happens along 128, far from residential buildings. 

But sometimes large buildings are proposed right next to neighbors. 

Such is the case at 455 Totten Pond Road, where a Boston developer wants to construct a large lab next to the Brookside Woods condos at 300 Winter Street. 

At two meetings of the Waltham Zoning Board of Appeals, neighbors have opposed plans for the project, even after The Davis Companies made some concessions.
