Two WPD Officers Injured in Motorcycle Collision

Around 10:30 a.m. Thursday, two Waltham Police motorcycle officers suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries after their motorcycles collided at Main Street and Sheridan Road.

The male officers, who were conducting a funeral escort at the time of the crash, were transported to an area hospital.

No other vehicles were involved, according to a Waltham Police press release.

The Waltham Police Accident Reconstruction Team is conducting the ongoing investigation

Police closed down Main Street from Hill Road to Market Place Drive and advised motorists to avoid the area.
