While we have you, we can introduce you to one of the readers, Tracy McMahon.

Tracy serves on the board of the Friends of the Waltham Family School.

She grew up in Waltham and has two little boys in the Waltham schools. Her mother came from Canada, so she had to adapt to a new home like the immigrant parents at the WFS.

“I’m very attached to the immigrant community here, and to early education and learning as well,” Tracy said.

She read a children’s picture book called The Beeman for the readathon.
