After a win Tuesday, Democratic incumbent Tom Stanley will serve another term as representative of the Ninth Middlesex District at the State House.

Rep. Stanley easily defeated fellow Waltham city councilor George Darcy, who ran as an unenrolled candidate. Stanley’s margin of victory was 73% to 27%.

The 9th Middlesex District covers Lincoln and parts of Waltham.

Stanley has faced challengers in the past, but has strolled to victory each time.
