Waltham Loves USPS Rally

On Saturday, U.S. Postal Service supporters rallied on Waltham Common.
The demonstration was organized by Ward 9 city councilor Jonathan Paz (light blue shirt).
He said “Currently, USPS is at risk of being de-funded and sabotaged by President Trump with the clear goal of stopping mail-in voting. This is not a joke. The sitting US President is making a full-fledged effort to hurt our democracy, during a global pandemic. People have the right to vote and have the right to do it safely.”
Among the demonstrators was Art Payne (red shirt), a retired rural letter carrier from Millis. He worked for the USPS for 34 years.
