Brandeis basketball players Ryan Power and Lulu Ohm, two former Waltham High School standouts, have been recognized for their academic excellence.

Now in his junior year, Ryan (WHS ‘20) is a starting shooting guard for the Judges men’s team, while sophomore Lulu (WHS ‘21) is a point guard for the women’s team.

 

Both were among 57 fellow Brandeis students to be named to the Winter 2022-23 Academic All-UAA team by the University Athletic Association (UAA).

Honorees must have completed more than one year of college and maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.30.

A WHS hoops superstar, Ryan majors in Health: Science, Society and Policy at Brandeis and has made the Dean’s List five times. He has an impressive 3.83 GPA and is a two-time Academic All-UAA selection.

 

It’s the first UAA recognition for Lulu, who studies Film and Interactive Media. 

Both were awarded Stroum Family Scholarships as students from Waltham studying at Brandeis. Congrats!
